The project scope was to increase the capacity of the inhabitants living in protected areas to know and protect their property rights, respecting the law of protected areas, preservation of natural habitats of wild flora and fauna, governmental ordinances and European legislation in the specific field.

Results:
• 1 information campaign about the property rights of the inhabitants living in protected areas, carried out at the level of 125 local communities belonging to the Natural Park Maramures Mountains, Natural Park Vânatori Neamt, National Park Calimani;
• 12.340 land owners informed;
• 7 public debates on the subject of the property rights of the citizens from protected areas, carried out with the participation of some experts in the specific field, parks authorities and local people;
• 1 list containing 5 proposals for improving the management plans of the targeted parks taking into account the problems and the suggestions identified during the public debates.
